Dr. Johanna Puhr
Johanna Puhr, born in Speyer, studied law in Berlin and Geneva. She obtained her doctorate at the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf on the subject of competition law, internet law and international jurisdiction. Johanna Puhr joined the law firm of Pfenning, Meinig & Partner in 2005 after several years of employment in a supra-local corporate law firm.
Johanna Puhr has additional qualifications as a mediator (Tulane School of Law, New Orleans) and as a lawyer specializing in industrial property protection. In 2007 she was nominated as a member of the IP law committee of the Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin (The Bar Association of Berlin).
Johanna Puhr represents German and international clients in trademark, patent, competition, domain and design disputes in regional and higher regional courts as well as in courts of arbitration. Furthermore, she has, among other things, obtained a leading decision on domain law before the European Court of Justice.
As well as doing forensic work, Johanna Puhr also advises and represents clients in trademark matters and draws up contracts relating to industrial property protection.
